As proof that you have got an authentic Pearl Mantel, look for the pearl inlay on the right hand side of the shelf. Your inlay is covered so you may paint or stain around it simply. When you're finished, simply remove the mask. Paint and stain grade wood is only available unfinished. Before painting or staining, a light sanding and filling is recommended.
